In short: this website does not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. It keeps two small technical settings in your browser, and neither identifies you.
1. About cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, let a site keep small settings in your browser in the same way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
This website is operated by TOROS SIA, Reg. No. 40203601294, VAT No. LV40203601294, Lidoņu iela 12–4, Rīga, LV-1055, Latvia.
2. What this site uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| toros-cookie-note | Local storage | Remembers that you closed the cookie note, so it isn't shown again | Until you clear this site's data in your browser |
| toros-intro | Session storage | Shows the short opening animation only once per visit | Until you close the browser tab |
Both are strictly necessary for the site to work the way you expect, contain no personal data and are never sent to us or anyone else. Our own code sets no cookies.
3. Third-party content
The website's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information. You can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical cookies to deliver the site securely, for example to balance traffic or block attacks. They are not used to track you.
4. Why there's no consent banner
Under the EU ePrivacy rules, as implemented in Latvian law, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you request doesn't require consent. Because this site uses only that kind of storage, we show a short notice instead of a consent banner.
5. If this changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them, give you a way to change your choice at any time, and update this policy first.
6. Controlling cookies
You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Here is how in common browsers:
Deleting this site's data only means the cookie note and the opening animation will appear again on your next visit.
